For guests, a visit to a restaurant should
be an enjoyable and relaxing experience, but this can only happen if, in turn, the staff are freed from unnecessary stress factors.
Waiters Call System operates on a very simple principle. Once the guest has placed an order with the waiter and the waiter has passed this onto the kitchen, the kitchen is able to call up the waiter – without guests noticing – at the precise moment the food is ready for serving.
Technically speaking, the system consists of:
The desired number of pagers, a rack for storing pagers, a terminal with keyboard and display from which the signal is sent to the individual waiter, an exchange unit and finally a repeater-transmission amplifier. Transmission is by radio.

Both technology and operation are equally simpl. The kitchen has a terminal with display and keyboard. The waiting staff have pagers which operate with a vibrator.
When the food is ready, the kitchen calls the staff member who took the order and the food is served without any waiting time which could spoil the food’s temperature etc.
At the same time the system saves staff from much unnecessary walking and time-wasting inquiries with the kitchen. They can therefore concentrate on the task in hand: looking after and “pampering” their guests by their
presence and expected attentiveness.
